Integral Healthcare
Partnership was established as an umbrella
organisation to provide additional support
and services to a team of GPs and their
practices in the North West and North East
of England. Established by practicing GPs,
the company’s purpose and vision is to
consistently establish best practice and
increase the range and number of clinical
services available to local patients within
their surgeries. Establishing a Clinical
Leadership model that can successfully
change with the reformist agenda of the
current NHS has been key to the success of
IHP.
IHP have now grown to incorporate support
and manage GP practices from 12 sites across
the North West and North East of England ,
providing an expanding team of General
Practitioners, GPwSIs, Consultants, Nurse
Clinicians, Practice Nurses and specialised
HCAs, to service the health needs of local
populations.
The organisations root are
established in demonstrating that consistent
locally derived ‘pathways of care’ for
patients leads to better access, increased
satisfaction, reduced waiting times ,more
provision of local or ‘one stop’ services,
less hospital referrals and therefore
increased savings to the NHS.
