After becoming successful bidders and being awarded 4 sites for GP Practices in the North West under the Fairness in Primary Care Initiative, the organisation is presently establishing high performing practices under the Nationally led ‘Equitable Access’ initiative, which is focused on improving services in under Doctored areas and also in extending opening time to 8am to 8pm 7 days a week to allow the public greater access to healthcare and advice.

As part of this initiative, IHP have now established GP led walk-in centres, to again increase the opportunities for people to get a wider range of healthcare treatment and advice.
